Tara Gray and Prompt Education

Prompt Education's inspiring journey from necessity to invention began when Tara's eldest son received a moderate to severe autism diagnosis. Recognising the importance of early intervention and the role visual aids play in the learning journey of children with ASD, Tara set out to find suitable flashcards and software. However, she discovered that the prices were beyond the reach of the average family. Undeterred, Tara decided to create these resources herself.

The visual aids she crafted played a transformative role in her son's journey from nonverbal to becoming a confident communicator. As word spread, other families soon sought Tara's creations for their own children and in just a few months, Prompt Education was born and the demand for these valuable resources soared.

Tara's determination and innovation led her to design simple yet highly effective visual aids, specially tailored for children on the autism spectrum. Utilising imported machinery and her creative ingenuity, she crafted Picture Enhanced Communication Scheme (PECS) resources that addressed the specific needs of children with autism. These tools not only benefited her son but also proved to be invaluable for countless other children in need of accessible and impactful learning materials.
